The El Capitan Eagles (Colorado City, AZ) baseball trounced the host Water Canyon Wildcats (Hildale, UT), 25-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Joseph City for a 1A North challenge on Thursday, March 6. El Capitan will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Ash Fork/Seligman (Ash Fork, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Water Canyon drops to 0-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Milford (Milford, UT) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A West challenge on Wednesday, March 12. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
