The Farmington Scorpions baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Kirtland Central Broncos to 5 in the Scorpions non-league win on Tuesday.
The Scorpions now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clovis for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. Farmington will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Kirtland Central drops to 3-1 on the year. The Broncos host Taos (Taos, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-0.
