Arizona High School Baseball - McClintock nips Maricopa

March 4, 2025: Maricopa, AZ 85239

The McClintock Chargers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Maricopa Rams to 4 in the Chargers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Chargers now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Alhambra for a 5A Metro test on Friday, March 7. McClintock will play a Lions team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Maricopa drops to 2-3 on the year. The Rams travel to Cholla (Tucson, AZ) to play the Chargers in a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 2-0. Cholla won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ)
