In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Philip Simmons Iron Horses lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-4 triumph over the James Island Trojans.
The Iron Horses (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph's Catholic held off T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC), 7-4, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Trojans meet the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 6. James Island will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
