Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) backers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), 8-5 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Grimsley improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Whirlies travel to Davie (Mocksville, NC) to play the War Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, March 10. The War Eagles enter the test with a record of 1-0. Davie won 12-11 in their recent non-league test against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC)

Next, the Cowboys battle the Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 6. Southwest Guilford will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders enter the test with a 4-0 record after their 26-1 non-league win over Watauga (Boone, NC).
