Greenwood Eagles (Greenwood, SC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Greenwood moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC) to clash with the Rams in a AAAAA Region 1 test on Thursday, March 6. The Rams come into the test with a record of 5-0. Hillcrest won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Gaffney (Gaffney, SC)

The Wildcats now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Easley for a AAAAA Region 1 test on Thursday, March 6. Woodmont will clash with a Green Wave team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Green Wave record now stands at 2-0.
