The Permian Panthers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Midland Legacy Rebels to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Frenship for a 6A Region 1 District 2 bout on Friday, March 7. Permian will play a Tigers squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Odessa (Odessa, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Midland Legacy moves to 6-10 on the year. The Rebels host Midland (Midland, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 6A Region 1 District 2 bout on Friday, March 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Midland won 3-1 in their recent league bout against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX)
