In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) baseball squad the host West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC), by a tally of 4-1.
Next up, the Cougars encounter the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 7. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC).
The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Mooresville by East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
