Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC) and the visiting Dutch Fork Silver Foxes (Irmo, SC), witnessed Spring Valley's lacrosse squad hold off Dutch Fork by a count of 1-0.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Gators enter the contest with a 1-1 record.
