Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Statesboro moves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a 6A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-3.

The Pirates now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glynn Academy for a 6A Area 2 test on Friday, March 7. Brunswick will clash with a Terrors team coming off a 3-0 league win over South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Terrors record now stands at 6-1.
