Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 11-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Claxton moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-2.
The Buccaneers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Portal for a 1A D-II Area 3 test on Thursday, March 6. McIntosh County Academy will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 6-1 league win over Bryan County (Pembroke, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
