Darlington Falcons (Darlington, SC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Dillon Wildcats (Dillon, SC), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Darlington advances its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC) to clash with the Diamond Hornets in a AAAA Region 5 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Diamond Hornets come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Wildcats now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Georgetown for a AAA Region 5 test on Friday, March 7. Dillon will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
