Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) and the host Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA), saw Echols County's soccer squad hold off Irwin County by a count of 4-3.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Lanier County was edged by Atkinson County (Pearson, GA), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Indians battle the Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA) in a battle, on Thursday, March 6. Irwin County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 10-0 league loss to Brooks County (Quitman, GA).
