In Tuesday's league contest, the Towers Titans (Decatur, GA) soccer team edged the visiting Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA), by a count of 7-6.
Next, the Titans battle the Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) in a 1A D-I Area 4 contest, on Thursday, March 6. Towers will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Jasper County (Monticello, GA).
The War Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Social Circle (Social Circle, GA). The Redskins enter the 1A D-I Area 4 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Social Circle held off Utopian Academy for the Arts (Ellenwood, GA), 6-0, in a league contest.
