The Ricebirds (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Raiders enter the 4A Region 3 District 22 battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Rice Consolidated was overwhelmed by Palacios (Palacios, TX), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Brahmas battle the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 22 battle, on Friday, March 7. Hallettsville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Sandcrabs enter the battle with a 9-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, TX).
