The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Anthony Wildcats (Anthony, TX), observed Mountain View's softball team get by Anthony by a tally of 21-17.

The Lobos (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos go into the non-league bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, Chaparral was routed by Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM), 19-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 7. Anthony will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 32-16 non-league loss to Clint (Clint, TX).
