Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 test, on Friday, March 7. Burnet will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 12-4 record after their 7-3 league win over Lampasas (Lampasas, TX).

The Cougars (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Lampasas (Lampasas, TX). The Badgers go into the 4A Region III District 24 test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Lampasas was routed by Salado (Salado, TX), 7-3, in a league test.
