In Tuesday's league match, the host Crosby Cougars softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Porter Spartans.

The Cougars (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Splendora (Splendora, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Splendora nipped BVCHEA HomeSchool (Bryan, TX), 7-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the West Fork Gators (Kingwood, TX) in a 4A Region III District 20 match, on Thursday, March 6. Porter will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Gators come into the match with a 6-7 record after their 6-1 league loss to Dayton (Dayton, TX).
