The La Pryor Bulldogs overwhelmed the host Crystal City Javelinas softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Charlotte Trojans (Charlotte, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Friday, March 7. La Pryor will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 12-8 non-league win over Cotulla (Cotulla, TX).

The Javelinas (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lytle (Lytle, TX). The Pirates go into the 3A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 5-6 record.
