In Tuesday's league match, the host Jordan-Matthews Jets softball team scored a tight 11-4 win over the Northwood Chargers.
The Jets (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Eastern Randolph was routed by Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC), 8-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A match, on Friday, March 7. Northwood will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Buccaneers come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 15-0 league loss to Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC).
