The Lakeway Christian Academy Lions softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting King's Academy Lions to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knoxville Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. Lakeway Christian Academy will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 14-4 non-league win over South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, King's Academy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Christian Academy of Knoxville (Knoxville, TN) to battle the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Christian Academy of Knoxville won 15-0 in their recent non-league bout against Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN)
