La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (Nixon, TX), 4-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, La Grange improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Leopards travel to Smithville (Smithville, TX) to play the Tigers in a 4A Region III District 22 game on Tuesday, March 11. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 14-4. Smithville won 12-3 in their recent non-league game against St. Paul (Shiner, TX)
