The Navarro Vikings overwhelmed the visiting Richards School for Young Women Leaders softball squad by a count of 15-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Bastrop Bears (Bastrop, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge, on Friday, March 7. Navarro will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 15-0 league win over Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX).
The (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX). The Raptors go into the 5A Region III District 24 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin toppled McCallum (Austin, TX), 5-4, in a league challenge.
