Georgia High School Baseball - Cairo edges Miller County

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Cairo Syrupmakers baseball team scored a close 3-1 victory over the Miller County Pirates.
The Syrupmakers (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Dougherty (Albany, GA). The Trojans come into the AAA Region 1 match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Dougherty by Cairo (Cairo, GA), 11-1, in a league match.
The Pirates now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Early County for a A D2 Region 1 game on Friday, March 6.
