The Griffin Bears baseball team (Griffin, GA), was overwhelmed 14-0 in Friday's league outing with the host Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA)
The Patriots now hold a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northgate for a AAAAA Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 9. Northside will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-9.
With the defeat, Griffin falls to 0-4 on the season. The Bears travel to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA) to battle the Panthers in a AAAAA Region 2 test on Tuesday, March 9. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-3. Starr's Mill won 5-1 in their recent league test against Northgate (Newnan, GA)
