Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 6-3 in a league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) in a A Public Region 3 challenge, on Friday, March 12. Portal will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record.
The Buccaneers now possess a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery County for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 8. McIntosh County Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Dooly County (Vienna, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
