The Laurel Golden Tornadoes baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the host North Forrest Eagles to 0 in the Golden Tornadoes non-league victory on Saturday.
The Golden Tornadoes (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
The Eagles (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Mize (Mize, MS). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region 8 match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Mize gained a win over Sylva Bay Academy (Bay Springs, MS), 6-4, in a non-league match.
