The Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting De La Salle Spartans to 10 in the Fightin' Irish non-league victory on Saturday.
The Fightin' Irish (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Burlingame (Burlingame, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Burlingame edged Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA), 4-3, in a non-league match.
