California High School Baseball - Point Loma nips Scripps Ranch

March 5, 2022: San Diego, CA 92106

Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Point Loma upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Pointers host St. Augustine (San Diego, CA) to battle the Saints in a test on Monday, March 7. The Saints come into the test with a record of 5-0. St. Augustine won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against San Marcos (San Marcos, CA)

With the defeat, Scripps Ranch falls to 2-2 on the season. The Falcons host Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to battle the Foothillers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 8. The Foothillers enter the battle with a record of 3-2. Grossmont won 11-4 in their recent non-league battle against Madison (San Diego, CA)
