Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns (Vista, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Del Norte for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 12.
With the loss, Rancho Buena Vista falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
