With the triumph, Americas improves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Trail Blazers host Eastlake (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a 6A Region I District 1 game on Tuesday, March 8. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 3-5.

In their next game, the Troopers clash with the Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 game, on Tuesday, March 8. Eastwood will attempt to improve on its 17-4 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 14-4 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Hanks (El Paso, TX).
