In Saturday's non-league contest, the Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the host Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ), by a margin of 18-3.

With the triumph, Ray moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Bearcats host Duncan (Duncan, AZ) to play the Wildkats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 8. The Wildkats come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Duncan won 24-4 in their recent non-league contest against Madison Highland Prep (Phoenix, AZ)
