The Golden Eagles now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Columbia for a 6A Area 16 match on Monday, March 7. Athens will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Mae Jemison (Huntsville, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Helena falls to 11-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Hatton (Town Creek, AL) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Saturday, March 5. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 5-4. Hatton won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL)
