The Hudson Hornets softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Bridge City Cardinals to 3 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Hudson improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Hornets travel to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX) to clash with the Indians in a non-league game on Saturday, March 5. The Indians come into the game with a record of 11-3. Port Neches-Groves won 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX)

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) in a 4A Region III District 22 game, on Tuesday, March 15. Bridge City will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
