The Coronado Thunderbirds softball team (El Paso, TX), was routed 17-1 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX)

Coming up next, the Spartans encounter the Eastwood Troopers (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 test, on Tuesday, March 8. Pebble Hills will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Troopers come into the test with a 17-4 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Americas (El Paso, TX).

The Thunderbirds (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region I District 1 test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Socorro overcame El Dorado (El Paso, TX), 11-4, in a non-league test.
