The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Elmore County Panthers (Eclectic, AL) and the host Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL), saw Elmore County's softball squad nip Marbury by a count of 10-3.

The Panthers now sport a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Rehobeth for a non-league match on Saturday, March 5. Elmore County will face a Rebels team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Ashford (Ashford, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 5-1.

The Bulldogs (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Jemison (Jemison, AL). The Panthers come into the 5A Area 6 test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Jemison was routed by Chilton County (Clanton, AL), 16-0, in a non-league test.
