The Cadets come into the game with a record of 1-8. Connally won 11-9 in their recent non-league game against Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX)

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Normangee Panthers (Normangee, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 5. Hempstead will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 8-4 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, TX).
