The Houston Academy Raiders softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Long Rebels to 0 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Houston Academy moves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Raiders host Brantley (Brantley, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, March 7. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 2-2. Brantley lost 5-4 in their recent non-league game against Long (Skipperville, AL)

In their next game, the Rebels play the Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 8. Long will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 13-1 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Escambia (Pensacola, FL).
