The Lexington Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting North Augusta Yellowjackets to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lexington improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Spring Valley (Columbia, SC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 16. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 1-3.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 8. North Augusta will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record.
