Morrilton Devil Dogs (Morrilton, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Northside Grizzlies (Fort Smith, AR), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Devil Dogs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Maumelle for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 7.
With the loss, Northside falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Van Buren (Van Buren, AR) to face the Pointers in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 7. The Pointers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
