In Saturday's non-league contest, the Natalia Mustangs (Natalia, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX), by a margin of 14-6.

With the triumph, Natalia moves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX) to play the Indians/Squaws in a 3A Region IV District 27 contest on Tuesday, March 8. The Indians/Squaws come into the contest with a record of 10-3.

In their next game, the Aggies play the Karnes City Badgers (Karnes City, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 27 contest, on Tuesday, March 8. Poteet will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Badgers come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Goliad (Goliad, TX).
