The Santa Fe Indians (Santa Fe, TX) softball routed the visiting Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX), 12-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Indians (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against Ball (Galveston, TX). The Tornadoes go into the 5A Region III District 22 bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Ball was routed by Sterling (Baytown, TX), 14-10, in a league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Crosby for a 5A Region III District 21 bout on Friday, March 11. Nederland will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 14-3.
