The Sipsey Valley Bears softball team (Buhl, AL), was tipped 3-2 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL)
Coming up next, the Stallions clash with the Holy Spirit Catholic Saints (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a 1A Area 9 test, on Saturday, March 5. South Lamar will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Saints come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL).
The Bears (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Jasper (Jasper, AL). The Vikings come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Jasper edged Lynn (Lynn, AL), 16-0, in a non-league test.
