Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 11-1 in a league test.

With the win, Carson upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Cougars host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to battle the Falcons in a South Piedmont 3A test on Friday, March 8. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 1-2. West Rowan lost 3-2 in their recent league test against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)

With the defeat, Central Cabarrus falls to 0-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to battle the Trojans in a South Piedmont 3A test on Friday, March 8. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-1. Northwest Cabarrus won 19-11 in their recent non-league test against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)
