The La Costa Canyon Mavericks held off the visiting Rancho Bernardo Broncos volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mavericks now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlsbad for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 6. La Costa Canyon will confront a Lancers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 6-2.

The Broncos (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA). The Bobcats enter the Avocado test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, Sage Creek held off Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
