South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA), 9-4 in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grovetown for a 5A-6A Area 7 battle on Monday, March 11. South Effingham will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 18. Savannah Christian will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Seahawks come into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 12-12 non-league Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA).
