Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Shiloh Generals (Snellville, GA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Longhorns confront the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) in a 6A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, March 8. Lanier will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 4-0 league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA).

The Generals now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson County for a 6A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Shiloh will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-1 league win over Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.
