Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines confront the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 9 challenge, on Friday, March 8. Wakeland will attempt to better on its 17-0 season record. The Raccoons enter the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 2-0 league loss to The Colony (The Colony, TX).

The Mustangs now have a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they host Reedy for a 5A Region 2 District 9 challenge on Friday, March 8. Creekview will confront a Lions team coming off a 7-0 league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-6.
