In Tuesday's league battle, the host Reedy Lions soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Turner Lions.
The Lions (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region 2 District 9 battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Creekview was overwhelmed by Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Lions (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers come into the 5A Region 2 District 9 battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Lone Star nudged The Colony (The Colony, TX), 2-1, in a league battle.
