The Catawba Ridge Copperheads softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Lancaster Bruins to 1 in the Copperheads league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Catawba Ridge improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Copperheads host South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) to clash with the Stallions in a game on Friday, March 8. The Stallions come into the game with a record of 0-1. South Pointe lost 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC)

In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) in a game, on Friday, March 8. Lancaster will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
